1. Care Standards
Terms and Conditions
Mel's Bunny Boarding will provide safe, clean, and appropriate boarding conditions for your pet(s).
2. Vaccination Requirements
Your pet must be fully up to date with vaccinations against Myxomatosis, Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD), and RVHD2. Please ensure you bring proof of your rabbit's current vaccination status at drop-off.
3. Medical Conditions
You must inform us of any existing medical conditions prior to boarding. Each case will be assessed individually, and all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your rabbit's needs. Medication can be administered during their stay if required.
4. Illness During Boarding
If your pet becomes unwell and requires veterinary attention, we will make every effort to contact the emergency number you provide. If we are unable to reach you, you consent to us using our discretion to seek veterinary treatment. Your pet's welfare is our primary concern, and we will always act in their best interest.
5. Veterinary Costs
Owners are responsible for all veterinary fees incurred during their pet's stay, including consultation fees, medication, or treatments.
6. Monitoring and Emergency Care
If your pet becomes unwell while with us, they will be seen by a vet. If necessary, they may be moved into the house so they can be closely monitored.
7. Vet Transport Fee
A charge of £5 will be payable for each trip to the vet to cover time and travel.
8. Pregnancy
We accept no responsibility for any pet's pregnancy, as all animals are kept separate unless otherwise agreed by you in writing.
9. Non-Collection
If your pet is not collected within 7 days of the agreed collection date and no contact has been made, we reserve the right to take action to rehome your pet. Every attempt will be made to contact you before this step is taken.
10. Liability
While every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, all pets are boarded at the owner's risk. We accept no liability in the unlikely event your pet becomes ill or dies during their stay. We will contact you or your emergency contact immediately and follow your stated wishes wherever possible.
11. Payments
The full balance for your pet's stay is payable on arrival. Cash and bank transfert is accepted and should be made payable to Melissa Girard de Langlade.
13. Diet
Please bring your pet's usual dried food to maintain consistency with their diet.
14. Daily Rates
Prices are charged per day and include the day your pet arrives, regardless of arrival time.
There is no charge for the day of departure if your pet is collected before 10 am. Collection after 10 am will incur an additional day's fee.
12. What's included in Daily care
Daily boarding includes: Litter, Bedding, Hay, Fresh veg and herbs, Daily outdoor exercise, Head rubs, attention, and interaction.
